NZ wagyu continues to disappoint

Good beefy taste. Texture was ok but marbling didn’t meet up to the score they’d given themselves.
I think kiwi wagyu companies need to have a good hard look at how countries like Australia are grading their wagyu.
You can’t give it the highest marble score just because it’s the best you currently have. This was graded 7+ but this would have been a 5 at best.
No fault at all of Chop but I think butchers and suppliers need to push back more on the producers that give unreasonable gradings to their product.
